Ride for Ramps is coming up on May 30th. What an exciting day we have planned! The day will start @ 10 am with a 5k run that will begin with a lap around the Oswego Speedway and then out into the community to end @ Lighthouse Lanes.

Then @ 10:30am the motorcycles will take off for a two and half hour ride through some of the most beautiful countryside in Oswego County. The first 100 people that sign up for either of these events will get one free T-Shirt and one free Chicken Bar-B-Que.

Please register for these events @ RIDEFORRAMPS.ORG

At 11am we will start the family events and functions. After obtaining a wristband, we have the family bicycle ride, that's right mom and dad and the kids, on the Oswego Speedway. So bring your bikes and take in the fun your children will have riding on an actual race track. (Or just do it for you). We will have a limited number of bicycle helmets for children. There are also two bounce houses, removable tattoos, rock painting, face painting, games and more.

New this year is a "cake wheel" though every now and then we will substitute the edible items for some other great prizes.

Finally we will have the GREAT Chicken Bar-B-Que hosted by Lighthouse Lanes with a new twist.....a drive thru area where if you're on your way to the races later in the afternoon you will be able to "stop" by and get a meal.

We look forward to seeing you there and supporting our accessibility program where we can provide a safe home environment for those with disabilities. The rejoining of those with a disability with the community is an amazing moment. Taking people out of rehabilitation facilities or keeping them from going into nursing/long term care is not only the right thing to do but is a win/win for them and the community they live in. Independent living is about being able to make your own choices; where to shop, where to go to church, and what foods do you get that you like and on and on. Join us in making a statement for independence and let's take care of our neighbors and friends.
