Eligible artwork must have been completed in 2016 or 2017. Acceptable media include: drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, photography, ceramics, digital media and all fine craft. The purpose of the exhibition is to offer a sampling of artwork currently being produced in New York State.
The juror for this year’s exhibition will be William DeForest III. Mr. DeForest is a fine artist and graphic designer who resides in Scriba, NY. He is a graduate of the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at SUNY Oswego. He has earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from The Ohio State University in Printmaking and Drawing and has also earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from Rochester Institute of Technology in and Medical Illustration & Computer Graphics. He has taught at Ithaca College and SUNY Oswego. He currently works at Bryant & Stratton’s Syracuse North Campus where he is the Program Coordinator for Design.
