Each year more than 30,000 people die by suicide in the U.S. and over 750,000 people make an attempt. These statistics are horrifying! Regardless of race, sex, age, where you live, suicide has no boundary and impacts every community across the country.

Fourteen years ago, my life was changed forever. It was a day that I know I’ll never forget and will forever be etched in my heart, as at the age of 16, my brother took his own life. Since then it has been my personal mission to raise awareness about suicide and hopefully one day be able to help another family from having to experience what we went through.

I wanted to connect with you because I know as a business you may be able to help us spread the word by simply posting our event flyer in your window or even in your employee break room.

Of course too we would love to see you form a team and come out to support those families that have been left behind.

SAVE is an amazing organization and with the funds we raise we will make sure that resources stay locally in our own community! One initiative we are focusing on this year is prevention in our schools!

On behalf of SAVE Central NY, I thank you for showing interest in our organization and we hope you will join us in raising awareness and educating Oswego County with our 6th Annual Stride to SAVE Lives event, and together we can SAVE lives.
