Not all of the details of Bears life are clear but we do know that he spent some time at a shelter in Syracuse from which he was once adopted. He spent a few months with his new family but they ultimately abandoned him as well. A relative of his adopted family contacted the Humane Society and asked us to help Bear and ensure that his next landing spot would be his forever spot.
Considering his journey, Bear is an incredibly patient and loving dog. He gets along well with other dogs and cats and is very gentle with children. Bear needs a family and yard of his own. He is neutered and microchipped.
Interested adopters must have a strong veterinarian reference and complete a home visit. If you can make a lifetime commitment to Bear, please call 315-806-3233 for an application or more information.
