Arlene F. Pinto, 79, a resident of 150 East First Street, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, January 2nd, at the Oswego Hospital. She was surrounded by her family.

Arlene was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Clarence and Mabel (Hoyt) Baum. She had also lived in Syracuse for many years.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a taxi driver for Acme Taxi in Oswego, and for several other area companies. She had also worked as a bus driver in Syracuse.

She is survived by her husband, Victor Pinto of Oswego; a son, William DeGroff of Oswego; two daughters, Linda (Nathaniel) Miller of Oswego, and Debra McBride of Oswego; two sisters, Darlene Woods of Oswego, and Nancy Wright of Oswego; 4 brothers, Clarence Baum of Alabama, Albert (Marie) Baum of Ohio, Robert Baum of Oswego, and Donald (Barb) Baum of Indiana; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Wayman.

Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 Monday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.

Burial will be private.
