Beth K. Sherman, 72, a resident of Oswego passed away on October 5 at the Oswego Hospital.

Born in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Kendall) Gilmore. She was a graduate of the Mount Helen School in Schenectady and received her teaching degree from SUNY Oswego.

Beth was employed as a substitute teacher with the Oswego City School District. She was also employed with the Coffee Connection and Wayne's Drugs and was a proud band parent.

Surviving are her two sons, Christopher (Bridget) Sherman of Ohio and Gregory (Meredith) Sherman of New York and a grandson, Peter Sherman.

She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Sherman of Oswego and her brother, Robert Gilmore of Schenectady.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday at 12:00 from the Dowdle Funeral Home with a calling from 11:00-12:00 prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
