Anthony M. Pauldine, General Contractors are taking on a dicey restoration/re-development project on a local building that many Oswegonians believe to be one the cornerstones of Oswego, NY.

“We are dissembling the wall, stone by stone.” said Tony Pauldine, president of Pauldine General Contractors. “We are doing everything humanly possible to save every stone, in order to rebuild the South wall this Spring.”

“At this point I don't know if I can save it (the South wall) entirely, but we are certainly going to try” Pauldine stated.

It's been a long, hard road for the Cahill's building, currently the oldest commercial building in Oswego. From the early history of the Cahill family to today, this building has stood up to weather, blasting, controversy and is still immersed in litigation. Now, there seems to be a light at the end of this tunnel. Pauldine is running at full bore, with results being seen in just a few days time. We'll be watching!
