The Darling Elves, 155 W. Fifth St., is hosting its Grand Opening Christmas Extravaganza Sunday, Nov. 9 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

“We are starting the week off with our Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Nov. 5 with Mayor Gillen and our special guest decorator from NYC, Josh Darling,” Co-owner Suanne Darling said.

The shop is filled with whimsical, traditional and elegant decorations that range from silk arrangements, Christmas ornaments and gifts within an affordable price range.

“I am anxious to show off a lot of the designs that we have available,” Co-owner Mary Haines said.

Josh Darling will provide Christmas animation that will be added to our displays to make them unlike anyone else’s in Oswego. Some of his pieces are from the old Oswego County Savings Bank displays used in the Eastside Bank.

At the Christmas Extravaganza, we will be raffling off a gift certificate for a fresh Thanksgiving Centerpiece delivered to your door in time for the holiday. We will also be giving away free gifts while supplies last.

There will be Christmas cookies from Aunt Mary’s, Cakes Galore and Canal Commons Baking Co. at the extravaganza.

The Darling Elves will also participate in the annual holiday open house Nov. 16 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Stop in at The Darling Elves for Christmas fun.
