Ferebee has been named to the All-SUNYAC Second Team. The Staten Island, N.Y. native led the team in total points this season with 398, averaging 15.9 points per game. Ferebee also ranked second on the team with 66 assists. His strong offensive effort earned him the fourth-place spot in the SUNYAC in points and sixth in points per game for the 2017-18 season.
The senior’s best performance this season came in their 92-83 win over Buffalo State on Dec. 8, where he went 15-18 at the free-throw line, collected a career-high 33 points and earned seven assists.
In his final year with the Lakers, Ferebee reached 1,000 career points and was named the Oswego State Athlete of the Week twice.
Teammate Tyler Pierre was named to the All-Conference Third Team. Pierre was crucial to the Lakers’ defense this season as he led the team in rebounds with 208, averaging 8.3 per game. His ability to take control of the ball off the boards secured him a second-place spot on the SUNYAC leaderboard for rebounds per game.
The Deer Park, N.Y. native made his presence known on the offensive end known as well, leading the team with a field-goal percentage of 54%.
The junior’s most impressive performance this season came in the Lakers’ matchup with Elmira College on Nov. 19 where he collected a total 23 points while sinking 11-of-12 at the free-throw line, and collected 11 rebounds for a double-double.
