'Fun On The Farm Day' 2015 Slated for July 18th

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County in coordination with Sorbello & Sons, Inc. is proud to announce the first ever Oswego County Fun on the Farm Day. Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 18th from 11 am to 2 pm. This event will be held at the Sorbello’s new onion packing house at 630 County Route 8 in Fulton, NY.

Sorbello & Sons, Inc., is a multi-generational farm that grows mainly onions on muck land, as well as soybeans and pumpkins. This event will feature tours of the farm and packing house, educational displays, fun family activities and the opportunity to speak with farmers and learn about where your food comes from.

“Oswego County Fun on the Farm will be a great opportunity for the public to see a real, working farm up close and learn about agriculture here in Oswego County” stated Lynnette Wright, Agriculture Economic Development Specialist for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County.
