Gary L. “Twink” Williamson, 69; of Granby passed away peacefully at the V.A Hospital, Syracuse, NY.

He was born in Fulton, NY to the late Donald and Arlene (Austic) Williamson. Twink has remained a life resident of Granby.

He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran having served from 1969-1971.

Twink retired from the Syracuse Local #545 Operating Engineers after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Phoenix V.F.W., and Hannibal American Legion.

Gary is survived by his wife of 45 years Jean (Tenhundfeld) Williamson of Fulton, their 3 children: Saun T. (Yvette) Williamson of VA, Stacy R. (William Raymond) Mitchell of Fulton, Rebecca A. (Joe) Sparks of VA, 2 siblings: Judy (Harry) Grover of Fulton (and Kansas,) and Mark Williamson of Liverpool, NY; 5 grandchildren: Keely G. Williamson, Saun T. Williamson II, Breanna A. Mitchell, Caitlyn L. Mitchell, Haileigh “Hope” Sparks, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be conducted Monday, February 26th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton followed by a Funeral Services at 6:00 PM with Rev. James Schultz officiating.

The New York State Military Honor Guard will bestow Military Honors. Burial will be held privately.
