Healing Arts Studio Celebrates Grand Opening with Holistic Open House

Counseling and Healing Arts held a successful open house to celebrate the opening of their new Healing Arts Studio in Fulton, NY held Saturday, April 7.

The Healing Arts Studio offers daily classes that promote health and well being. The classes include meditation, Taiji, various types of yoga and more. Additionally, they host a variety of ongoing training's and specialty workshops aimed at helping others improve the quality of their lives and the lives of those that are close to them.

Fulton Mayor Ronald D. Woodward, 5th Ward Councilor Dennis Merlino, 4th Ward Councilor Samuel “Sam” Vono, 6th Ward Councilor Lawrence Macner, 3rd Ward Councilor Don Patrick arrived early in the day to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony performed by iHeartOswego. Shortly after, others arrived at the studio to participate in the classes and presentations offered.

On the first floor, many holistic vendors displayed their health products and services. Some attendees included Green Planet Grocery, Mercer Naturals, Inc., Robin Waterbury with Ahh Reiki, Carin Ramirez representing Young Living Essential Oils, and Peaceful Remedies was represented with information about how they assist those who have suffered any type of life altering illness .

The second floor was packed with people waiting for chair massages offered by Katie Godici. The second floor also holds many counseling offices.

The third floor designates the Healing Arts Studio. The studio was full and lively throughout the day with holistic sessions involving Taiji, various forms of yoga including slow flow and family yoga, and a meditative hooping class known as soul hooping with Infinity Life Solutions. A meditation class brought the beautiful day to a close with an amazing turnout.

Healing Arts Studio showed their gratitude by gifting participants with a unique succulent plant, as well as entering them in a chance to win a drawing. Drawing prizes included a 10-class pass to the studio, a Reiki treatment by the Reiki practitioner on staff or a basket full of gifts donated by the holistic contributors that were a part of the day’s festivities.
