Long-time members of the Oswego Players, they have worked on countless productions in a variety of capacities. As directors or actors, this couple has devoted countless hours to the Francis Marion Brown Theater.
Nelson and Sherri are honored and thrilled to be invited to participate in this hilarious, fun-filled theater production. This promises to be a fun night for everyone.
"I love working with the Players. They’re always two steps ahead and anticipate your every need. You need it...they'll get it. You need it done...they'll get it done. I'm so excited to be a part of this company and I am certain this farcical romp will be a huge success!" added Sherri.
Nelson has directed numerous shows including Lost in Yonkers, The Director and Don't Dress for Dinner. Nelson says: "Love the process, live the performance". Sherri had spent 10 years doing musicals with the Red Creek Community Players and has worked with the Oswego Players for many years.
"I have recently taken a bigger interest in the director's chair and look forward to the opportunity to direct again in the near future" said Sherri.
In addition to live theater Nelson enjoys work as a Youth Employment Specialist with Oswego County’s Workforce New York office. He is also active in the community with our local Elks Lodge #271. Sherri spends her time off stage as Member Service Representative with Compass Federal Credit Union and at the First United Methodist church of Oswego as Choir Director/organist.
