Mr. Souva was born in Watertown, NY, the son of the late Fredrick and Laura (Frazier) Souva. He was educated in Mexico schools.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Laborer’s Local #214 on various local projects, including work at the Nine Mile facilities, and the construction of Leto’s Lock #7.
He was the husband of the late Clare Souva, who died in 2013.
He is survived by a son, Jody Souva of Granby; four step-children, Penny Jackson of Granby, Brenda Barlow of Scriba, John Parkhhurst of Camden, and Donald Parkhurst of Fulton; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services are private.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in the town of Volney.
