The Oswego State field hockey team fell to St. John Fisher, 8-1, in nonconference action on Tuesday evening. With the loss, the Lakers finish the season with a 5-9 record, while St. John Fisher improves to 13-3.

Oswego’s lone goal came in the last minute of play. Kendra Walker scored the Laker goal, while Jordan Sheehy notched her first assist of the year.

Goalie Sarita Charap collected nine saves during her 51 minutes in the net. The senior ends her Laker career with 421 saves, putting her in fourth place on Oswego’s all-time career saves list. Joanna Christman, who played the rest of the game against the Cardinals, finished with two saves.
