Working toward a soft opening in December for the last 2018 production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, plans for a full 2019 mainstage season are being announced with Little Women, the Broadway musical, as the season opener on the new stage. The musical was slated to close the 2018 season but with the ongoing renovation of the new Community Arts Center, the production was rescheduled to February 15-26, 2019.
Auditions are being held Saturday, November 3 from 1:30 to 4, Sunday, November 4, from 2-4, and Tuesday, November 6 from 6-8pm. The musical will be co-directed by Nancy and Rebecca Fox with Ben Borenstein as Music Director. Harlow Kisselstein has been gathering and preparing to costume the Civil War era time period since the production was announced for the 2018 season. Several other key positions on the production staff are still open.
Auditions will be held at the Arts Hotspot, 47 S. First St. in downtown Fulton while renovations continue at the new Community Arts Center. Actors are asked to prepare 32 bars of a Broadway song, a one minute monologue and plan to read from the script. A headshot or photo and resume are also required.
