MACS National Honor Society Inducts 62nd Class

The Mexico Academy and Central Schools “Los Inteligentes” chapter of National Honor Society held its 62nd Annual Rite of Induction on Thursday, Nov. 20 welcoming 20 new members.

National Honor Society (NHS) recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of character, scholarship, leadership and service, collectively referred to as the “Four Pillars” of NHS.

The new members were inducted by the current NHS officers: President Ashton Ariola, Vice President Kaitlyn Belcher, Secretary Derrick Mosher, and Treasurer Anthony Yost. Mexico High School English teacher Joseph Deckman serves as NHS Advisor.

The complete list of inductees is as follow, in order of their induction:

Seniors: Tyler Grasso, Allyson Ruby, Megan Shaw, Zachary Revette, Brandi Maynes, Hailee Woods, Daniel Scully.

Juniors: Brionnna Emery, Kimberly Heagerty, Amber Moseuk, Connor Ransier, Joshua Washer, Ashley Clement, Nicholas Hartmann, Logan Craig, Alyssa Dann, April McConnell, Sheila Wallis, Madeline Higby, Rachel Rose.
