Don Hilton, Oswego County native of Hastings has received the endorsement of the National Association of Police Organizations (N.A.P.O.) representing over 1,000 Police units and associations.

"I am honored to have received the endorsement of the National Association of Police Organizations (N.A.P.O.). Having the support of more than 241,000 members of law enforcement from across the country is truly humbling. I believe my experience and dedication to our community makes me the only choice for Sheriff on September 13th." Hilton said in reaction to the endorsement.

Hilton has run his campaign focusing on his more than 30 years of experience, including time as a federal drug officer. Hilton says “I have the direct knowledge of working in and leading multi-department investigations actively combatting the drug crisis.” With rising addiction problems across the county, Don is confident he can make an impact.

Leadership, Integrity and Accountability are Hiltons three main points. He hopes to restore a strong leader who is a community role model for those who work for him, and the community at large.
