The diner Lil Taste of Home, 875 County Route 29, offers Oswego residents a new menu that includes the sought-out Fish Fridays and hard ice cream.

Lil Taste of Home opened six months ago by owner Cynthia Wyablonski. She intended to originally open a bakery, but she decided to open a family-run diner instead.
Dennis Daubek, Wyablonski's son, helps with customers and is also the cook at Lil Taste of Home.
"The diner is run by the family," Daubek said. "We opened six months ago and it's been going great."
Daubek said the diner offers breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as sweet treats.
"We do serve hard ice cream all year round, even in the winter" he said. "Our customers love our Fish Fridays, which is a specialty of ours."
Lil Taste of Home is open on Monday and Tuesdays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesdays through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
