Ray Jock, and his wife Kimberly, own La Parrilla Grill and Wine Bar, and Murphy, who has worked in the restaurant/bar industry for over 30 years, have formed LaP&T @ OCC, and began the management of all food operations effective
The new partners take over for Chris Carpenter, who operated the club’s restaurant and bar for 10 years, until deciding recently to pursue other opportunities within the industry.
“We are very excited to welcome LaP&T @ OCC and staff to Oswego Country Club as our new restaurant and bar management team,” said Bacon. “Our membership greatly appreciates the efforts of Chris Carpenter and Chef Worth Lenahan for their commitment over the years, and are now looking forward to this new partnership.”
As a chef of over 20 years, Ray Jock, has continuously impressed patrons whether as a private executive chef, restaurant owner, or simply a volunteer cook. Jock and his wife, Kimberly, are known for their Oswego-restaurant La Parrilla, which opened after Ray spent years working in restaurant management in New York City.
Murphy, an Oswego native, has decades of bartending and management experience in the restaurant/bar industry. She is well-known in the Oswego restaurant community, and is an active volunteer for many local events, charities, and organizations. As a child, she worked in her family’s restaurant and has continued to develop her management and customer service skills ever since.
“We believe our experience and resources bring a lot to the table for Oswego Country Club, their membership and guests,” said Ray Jock. “It will be an exciting, new beginning for everyone.”
Murphy added, “It starts with building a family between LaP&T and our staff, and providing a fun, happy environment, that in turn leads to a warm, successful experience for everyone. We are looking forward to that for sure!”
