The Oswego County Humane Society has launched the Fur Ball Photo Contest in conjunction with the actual Fur Ball to be held on April 28th at the American Foundry.

Anyone can enter the contest by uploading a photo of their pet. The link can be found at www.oswegohumane.org. The cost to enter a pet is only $5 and each vote after the entry fee is $1. The pet that receives the most votes will receive a gift certificate for a pet photo session donated by Ellen Gerberich, the owner of Nature’s Palette Photograph Art in Sterling, New York.

The winning pet will also be featured on the cover of the Oswego County Humane Society’s 2019 People & Pets Are Good for Each Other calendar. The next 12 winning pets will also be featured on individual month pages of the calendar.

The contest closes on April 27th at 8 pm and the thirteen winners will be announced the next evening at the Fur Ball. It is not necessary to attend the Fur Ball to enter the contest. In addition, there is an option to buy an individual date on the calendar to honor your pet.
