The Oswego State Blueline Club is pleased to announce the second annual Rockin' the River concert, set to take place on Saturday, April 6.

Last year's community and campus celebration was attended by almost 400 people, a total the 2019 crowd is anticipated to surpass. Popular Central New York band The Billionaires will again headline the event, which will also feature fireworks sponsored by PathFinder Bank.

The Billionaires are comprised of lead singer Anna White, guitarist Rob Houston, keyboardist Kimo Cortini, bassist Andy Jordan and former Laker hockey player Daryl Hunt on drums. Hunt, a 1981 graduate of Oswego State and former Laker goaltender, said that the chairman of the concert, Mike Cullinan, reached out to him about bringing The Billionaires to Rockin' the River again in 2019.

The evening will kick off at 7pm, when local artist Cam Caruso takes the stage.

Rockin' the River's location will again be the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, located at 26 E. 1st St. in Oswego. The convention center, attached to the Best Western Captain's Quarters hotel, has an event space of 10,000 square feet in the reception room, with a beautiful view of the Oswego River and the harbor.

Tickets for the event are $25 each presale and $30 on the day of the event. Event tickets, as well as raffle tickets for NHL game tickets, as well as a painting by Toronto artist and former Laker defenseman, Mike Wills, are available online.
