Weaver And Walker Medal, Set Records at NYS Indoor Track Championships

This past weekend, Paul V. Moore High School athletes Joe Weaver and Trevor Walker both won medals at the NYS Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field complex on Staten Island.

In addition to winning medals, both students broke the Section III record in their respective events. Joe pole vaulted 15' 6" to take 2nd in NYSPHSAA and 3rd including the NYS Federation teams.

Joe broke his own section 3 record which was previously 15' 3". Trevor placed 5th NYSPHSAA & 5th NYS Federation in the 25lb. weight throw. His top throw of 63' 8.5" broke the previous Section 3 record of 62' 11".
