‘Tis the time celebrate the arrival of the vernal equinox at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center; a time to rejoice in the imminent renewal and rebirth of the flowering plants and wildlife.

On Sunday, March 24th at 2:00 PM, the public is invited to enjoy a wander about the woodlands and brook, to the beaver pond with naturalist Pat Carney, looking and listening for the messengers of spring as we bid farewell to “Old Man Winter” and greet “Young Man Spring." Music will be provided by the avian orchestra, and perhaps an amphibian chorus. Please dress for an early spring walk. Snowshoe will be provided if needed.

The Young Man Spring Walk is a program designed for people of all ages. There is a $4.00 fee per person or $12.00 per family; children under three are free. Registration fees will be collected on the day of the program.

Amboy 4-H Environmental Educational Center is located at 748 Route 183, between Routes 13 and 69 near Williamstown.
